Welcome to HopQuiz. By using this website (the “Service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
HopQuiz provides study tools — flashcards, timers, planning, notes, and related features — that run in your web browser, with optional cloud sync when you sign in. The Service is provided free of charge and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time without notice.
Signing in with Google is optional. If you sign in, we receive your basic Google profile (name, email address, and account identifier) to create your HopQuiz account, and your study content is stored on our servers to provide sync. You are responsible for the security of your Google account. You may stop using the account at any time and erase its data with Settings → Delete all data.
Decks, cards, notes, images, and tasks you create belong to you. When you use sync, you grant us the limited right to store and process that content solely to operate the Service. In guest mode, data exists only in your browser, and you are responsible for backups using the export feature — we cannot recover data lost when browser storage is cleared. Decks you publish to Explore are made publicly visible until you unpublish them.
You agree not to use the Service for anything unlawful, to attempt to disrupt or misuse the site, or to share content through the Service that infringes the rights of others. We may suspend access or remove content that violates these terms.
The Service may display advertisements, including ads served by third parties such as Google AdSense. Advertisers are responsible for their own content; a link or ad does not imply our endorsement.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that stored data will never be lost.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HopQuiz and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
