About HopQuiz

HopQuiz is a free study tool built around one idea: a quiet, focused corner where things actually stick. You create flashcard decks, review them in three answer modes — flip cards, multiple choice, and type-the-answer — and HopQuiz schedules missed cards back into your reviews using a simple spaced-repetition system. Cards can carry images, author-written hints, and real math notation with fractions, powers, and subscripts.

Alongside flashcards, HopQuiz includes the small tools that make a study session work: a pomodoro focus timer, a study planner, sticky notes and image snapshots you can pin anywhere, a drawing pad for handwritten notes, a flowchart editor, study music via YouTube or Spotify, and progress tracking with streaks, accuracy, a heatmap, and a daily goal.

Your data, two ways

Study as a guest and everything lives only in your own browser — nothing is sent anywhere. Or sign in with Google and your decks, notes, and images sync securely across your devices. Either way the content is yours: export, import, or share it as plain files at any time, and delete everything with one button.

Who it’s for

Students revising for exams, language learners drilling vocabulary, professionals studying for certifications — anyone who learns better with active recall. Decks are plain, portable files, so a class or study group can build and swap them freely.

How it works

Answer a card correctly and it is scheduled further into the future; miss it and it stays due, returning in your next session. The “Study due” view collects every card that is ready for review across all of your decks, so a few minutes a day keeps everything fresh.
